Christ instructed at Matthew 23: 9, “And do not call anyone on earth your father, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.10Nor are you to be called leaders, for you have one leader, the Christ.”
And at Matthew 5:19 he stated, “Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven.”
At Atcs 20: 29 Paul stated, “I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.30Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them. 31Therefore be alert and remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.”
So, why do so many of you disregard Christ’s and Paul’s directions and call other members in your churches Father, or Pope (Papa)? They are not your leaders, Christ is.

Hi Joen,
Though Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 4:15, do you believe he would have accepted the title and name Father, if that’s what members in congregations started to call him?
